Move For Life has been set up to deliver positive strategies in order to combat anti-social behaviour in Britain’s young people, above all, to fight knife and gun crime. Many organizations are already fighting the causes of knife crime within London. However, with the majority having a low profile and limited funding they are often scarcely known and are restricted to offering their services to a selected area and demographic.

Therefore Move For Life’s aim is to act as an Umbrella Organization drawing similar charities and schemes together to work as one, creating a bigger impact on the elimination of knife crime, whilst also raising the profile of other schemes, so they have the recognition they deserve.
The basis, and core of Move For Life will be this social networking site, which will enable the charities to reach out to a wider audience, and let young people know what help and activities are available to them

As a registered charity, Move For Life organisation will provide attractive opportunities for young people between the ages of 12-25, who are at risk of offending or re-offending, allowing them to channel their energies away from Gang related crime and violence, acting as a bridge between the streets and opportunities. Although we will not work directly with the young people, We will direct them to groups and schemes that are already established.

The range of partners we will have available for young people will be diverse and attractive. Each project will provide a sense of Purpose, Identity, Belonging, Engagement and Mentoring.
