XLP work with young people from disadvantaged backgrounds who live on inner city estates. Many of the children they work with are struggling with issues such as family breakdown, poverty, unemployment and educational failure.

Through educational workshops, offering activities and mentoring the charity aims to reduce levels of anti-social behaviour and gang crime.

Every year XLP goes into schools and communities to deliver frontline services that aim to help young people recognise their full potential, restore trust in people, nurture the belief that things can change and encourage them to set positive goals and work hard to achieve them.
